TBC TRAINING COURSE (2-DAY)
This class is designed to help users gain a broad general understanding of Trimble’s TBC software, and will emphasize common land surveying and office processing tasks.
Topics to include:
Installation & licensing
Settings and configuration
Understanding the user interface
Specific topics to include:
Starting a new project
Data import, export, and report generation
Using graphical views & spreadsheets
Creating & working with feature definition libraries
Working with GNSS data
Working with Total Station data
Lecture, handouts, and hands-on exercises will be used to support learning topics. A Certificate of Completion will be issued upon successful course completion. Additional info will be provided to obtain necessary knowledge & resources to take and help pass the TBC Certified User Exam.
Required:
To participate, attendees will need own portable/laptop PC meeting minimum system requirements for TBC (details upon request)
Sufficient administrative rights to install and/or successfully operate the TBC software
Though not specifically required, WiFi capability & ability to access the internet is strongly recommended. Google Earth (freeware) may be helpful for some exercises
30-day full-use Demo licenses and current version TBC download links will be emailed prior to class. To ensure success, and since limited time will be available to troubleshoot during class, students are requested to install & activate software prior to the course. Technical support will be available.
