This is the only mapping system they have &amp; must do both survey and mapping for the department. The question was “ It there a quicker way to do this with less trouble than doing an RTK survey for mapping project that only require sub-meter? </FONT></P><P =Ms&#111;normal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=3>&nbsp;</FONT></o:p></P><P =Ms&#111;normal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><FONT size=3><FONT face="Times New Roman">Answer is yes! <SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp;</SPAN></FONT></FONT></P><P =MsoText3 style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 6pt"><FONT size=2><FONT face="Times New Roman">WAAS is a free correction from a geo-stationary satellite. It provides a good solid sub-meter DGPS position &amp; works especially good in <?:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:State w:st="&#111;n"><st1:place w:st="&#111;n">Arizona</st1:place></st1:State>. So if you have some mapping to do where you only need sub-meter accuracy creating a “WAAS” survey style will simplify the job and increase your productively.
