Allen Instruments & Supplies
is a leading supplier of innovative measurement products and
technologies in the fields of surveying, engineering, mining,
construction, and GIS to business, government and education. Allen
Instruments is one of the country’s leading distributors for Trimble
Navigation, a manufacturer of navigation systems and software based on
the US government-owned global positioning system (GPS) satellite
network. The company has been built on personal integrity, knowledge
and strong manufacturing and distribution relationships. Allen
Instruments provides customers with experienced sales professionals,
reliable and leading edge products and technologies from the most
reputable manufacturers, and a complete portfolio of value added
services.
The business is family owned and began operation in 1969 in a building
located in historic old town Scottsdale, Arizona. In 1990 Al Lehman
Jr., the company’s current President, took over the leadership of the
company from his father Allen Lehman. Since that time, Allen
Instruments has expanded to all of Arizona as well as Southern
California. Located in the original Scottsdale location are the
company’s corporate offices, a Retail Showroom, Training and
Conference facilities, and a Service Center. Allen Instruments/Spectra
Pacific operates a 10,500 square foot facility in Anaheim, California,
including an 800 square foot Retail/Sales showroom, a distribution
warehouse, Training facilities and a Service Center. In Rancho
Bernardo, California, just north of San Diego, California, Allen
Instruments operates a 1250 square foot Retail/Service Center.
Allen Instruments sets itself apart from the competition by value
added services provided before and after the sale. In three fully
stocked showrooms, Allen provides customers the full range of supplies
and accessories needed for the operation of their businesses. Each
store location provides factory trained and certified field and bench
service technicians in state of the art service facilities, and
maintains full lines of rental equipment for those customers with
additional needs or interests in experimenting with the newest
technologies. Certified trainers and classes are also provided from
each Allen location. |
